Cheney to Bush: "Hang in there! 7 or 700 days, it doesn't matter. Elections-selections: who cares? In 7 days we'll know what we will have to say, but it won't change what we do. We still won't talk to the Syrians or to the Iranians (Or we'll have to answer to AIPAC.) No time-tables. (What are bench-marks?) We're still not budging on our permanent bases. If necessary, pull more troops from Afghanistan and billet them around the Green Zone. Continue the blame game for next 700 days. We can blame Bill Clinton and John Kerry for everything. After that, we can blame Hillary forever. Who cares about legacies? Historians decide those in our after-life! So, let's just hang in there!"
