I've got a killer headache but what about the general collapse of responsible government and real political leadership? That would cover Iraq, Katrina,and the assorted crooks occupying elected office.
How about God in American politics?
Maybe the looming water crisis would be something to talk about?
Should New Orleans be re built where it is/was?
Why is housing developement allowed, for instance, on the Florida coastline and the Keyes?
Why do Americans demand their leaders to be saints but not necessarily good leaders? And if only saint can apply, there will never be enough choices to start with.
Why does this administration demand democracy in foreign countries, but only a certain kind?
American image in the world has been seriously damaged. Can it be repaired?
Americans are divided permanently?
Hopsicker has a great story on the Mexican 5.5 ton cocaine bust of April 12 . The plane was decked out in Dept Homeland Security livery. It's two owners were companies Royal Sons and Skyway Aircraft . This last one was owned by Brent Kovar (appointed to the Business Advisory Council of the NRCC in 2003 by Tom Delay) whose parent company was SkyWay Communications Holding, a penny stock fraud company going bankrupt.
Royal Sons also has ties to the Bush family and the Saudis through a series of dodgy holding companies.
Now turn to Titan Corp, the biggest campaign contributor of Randy Cunningham and a major contributor to House Armed Services Committee Chairman Duncan Hunter, who returned Titan's generosity by defending Titan’s torture employees at Abu Ghraib.
Before signing on with Titan, executive David Stinson was the VP of an Annapolis Maryland firm Intergraph dealing with Brent Wilke’s ADCS Inc - you know, the one under investigation by the FBI.
In May of 2004 Titan Corp promised as much as half a billion dollars worth of business to Skyway CH for software supposed to protect planes from terrorism, and provide high-speed Internet at 30,000 feet. (The software didn't work, but it was eminently billable which was the point of the scam exercise). This was originally German software from a company called VPMAX with US distributor John Karpovich. He followed the Skyway-Titan deal being put together by Brent Wilkes, Duncan Hunter and Dusty Foggo.

We also get Akram Chams, a mysterious Lebanese man who owned a convenience store and provided assistance to Mohammed Atta and other 911 terrorists in Venice Fl before the 911 attack, and who then disappeared leaving behind a thriving mini-mart abandoned in downtown Venice.
According to Hopsicker, Chams has since been working as a contractor for Titan Corp in Saudi Arabia. Here are the details:
Makram Chams, a Lebanese national, helped Mohamed Atta and Marwan Al-Shehhi. He owned a mini mart in Venice Fl where the terrorists received a $70,000 money transfer from the UAE. After 9/11 Chams then went missing, abandoning his mini mart, but has recently re-surfaced in Saudi Arabia, as a contractor for US defense firm Titan Corp. [remember them?!]
In Titan Corp’s 2005 SEC filing they claimed that Chams had brought a $21.9m legal action in Saudi Arabia for defamation and wrongful termination of a consultancy agreement.
Meanwhile, Venice cab driver, Bob Simpson, says that prior to 9/11 he had transferred a wealthy Saudi businessman and his wife from the airport to the Chams apartment above the minimart, there to meet Atta and al-Shehhi who, by the way, were on buddy-buddy terms with Chams.
Hopsicker notes that the FBI never identified Chams at the 9/11 Commission hearings, but that the $70,000 money order receipt they did provide showed the address of Makram Chams mini mart.
As previously mentioned Titan Corp has connections to Randy Cunningham, Duncan Hunter, Brent Wilkes and Dusty Foggo, mostly through the fraudulent company called SkyWay Communications Holding. Skyways owned the drug plane which was captured in Mexico on April 12 with the 5.5 tons of cocaine.
SkyWays partner in the plane ownership was the Florida air charter company, Royal Sons LLC , which was at one time housed in a hanger at the Venice Fl. Airport owned by flight school Huffman Aviation, home of the 9/11 terrorists.
A Huffman Aviation plane was the subject of a drug bust just prior to the arrival of the 911 terrorists as trainee pilots. No-one, of course, was ever charged (since the company had been doing weekly drug flights from the Caribean for six months and obviously had some DEA protection.)
A close circle of friends, yes?
So a 9/11 terrorist enabler (Chams) has been working for a corrupt US defence company (Titan) with ties to senior US politicians (Cunningham, Hunter, Wilkes, Foggo). Worth asking a few questions, you think?

Judith Miller has recently come out claiming she received strong warnings pre-911 of the terrorist attack. It seems the tune is now being changed from the official story post 9/11. There Rumsfeld and Condi Rice claimed before Congress that the use of aircraft by al Qaeda was entirely unexpected which was a flat out lie. There was also all the overlooked foreign intelligence warnings.
Claims have been made that specific knowledge of the 9-11 attacks on the twin towers was provided to Sen. Bob Graham and Rep. Robert Wexler prior to 9/11 from con man turned FBI informant Randy Glass as part of Operation Diamondback. During an allegedly recorded meeting at Robert DeNiro's Tribeca Grill in NY on July 22, 1999 Pakistani arms dealer Raja Abbas pointed towards the World Trade Center and stated "those towers are coming down." 1 2 3
(The story of Dr. Magdy Elamir and Homeland Security Chief Michael Chertoff referred to in the links makes for an interesting read about how this govt deals with terrorist financiers - in a word, equivocal).
FBI translator Sibel Edmonds pointed to extensive 9/11 warnings received by the FBI. The Bush admin has silenced her. 1 2
Then there was all the Able Danger stuff, the questions about a second Mohammed Atta, FBI agents Behrooz Sarshar and Colleen Rowley
It's hard to say if 9/11 could have been avoided. Whether through incompetence - or something more sinister - the Bush administration certainly ignored or shut down warning lights across the board.
One of the unanswered questions of 9/11 is contents of the redacted 28 pages of Joint Congressional 911 Report outlining Saudi links that may have impinged one way or another on 9/11. Many suspect - with good reason - that the Saudis were involved in some way.
In the same vein, it is worth pointing out that Pakistan, through its military intelligence (ISI), had close connections to the 9/11 terrorists.
It has been alleged that the ISI's Gen.Mahmoud Ahmad had authorised a $100,000 payment into the Florida bank account of Mahommed Atta. Why Ahmad has not been brought to trial have never been made clear, but undoubtedly it has a great deal to do with long-standing links that go back to when the CIA used the ISI to train Taliban rebels against the Russians in Afghanistan.
Recently (Mar 2006) the Pakistan government has admitted that it had paid tens of thousands of dollars to lobbyists in the US to get anti-Pakistan references dropped from the official 9/11 Commission Report. (It is not clear if any payments were made to US Congress members.)
Finally, senior US Government official has admitted that a foreign nation has been identified as complicit in the events of 911.
This, from Senator Bob Graham, Head of the 911 Joint Congressional Inquiry from Feb - Dec 2002 when interviewed on the PBS Lehrer Hour by Gwen Ifill in 2002:
"I was surprised at the evidence that there were foreign governments involved in facilitating the activities of at least some of the terrorists in the United States."
".... I think there is very compelling evidence that at least some of the terrorists were assisted not just in financing -- although that was part of it -- by a sovereign foreign government"
".... It will become public at some point when it's turned over to the archives, but that's 20 or 30 years from now."
The implications of this claim are quite profound. It means that the 19 hijackers were not operating in isolation. There was a complex support base. It also implies a far more extensive awareness of the impending 9/11 attacks by persons who have yet to be identified.
Interestingly, of all the pre-9/11 intelligence warnings received by US intelligence, none came from Saudi Arabia or Pakistan, the two nations with the closest terrorist contacts, and close connections to US intelligence services and the CIA.
Let this sink into your brain and then start insisting on answers from your government:
A senior US Government official has admitted that a foreign nation has been identified as complicit in the events of 911.
