On Nanci Griffith's "Other Voices Other Rooms 2", Odetta joins Emmylou Harris, Carolyn Hester, and Nance on a rousing version of "Wasn't That a Mighty Storm". It's a stellar performance by all of these legends, Odetta's, in particualar.
The civil rights movement brought out the best in some people; and it merged a people's music with a people's struggle.
Odetta, you will be remembered.
