Gary Hart

One of those courageous Democrats who kept his mind when many around him were losing theirs was Senator Gary Hart.

Sozadee is a state of mind. It was discovered (or founded) many years ago on a hot August afternoon's sail out of Newport Beach. There was no wind (at least any stronger than the current) and a burning, glaring sun. The limp sails afforded no shade. All aboard knew the outboard was questionable. The ice on the beer was melting and discussion was skirting the issue of sunstroke. Suddenly, the word "Sozadee" was uttered, the breeze returned, and all was well.

It wasn't just the blue-dogs, Vig, who surrendered to Bush. It was also guys like Biden, Kerry, and Edwards. And, yes, it was pure ass-covering for their having missed the boat back in '91. Pretty pathetic, if you ask me.
I am corrected. Thanks, Will!
I always liked Hart. He always seemed to think things through before he acted. And he could communicate as effectively as Bill Clinton, I think.
LOL For a minute I thought that MacDaddy was talking about me. Yes, that Hart was good, too.
