An Anniversary Approaches . . .

Oscar Wilde said,
Most modern calendars mar the sweet simplicity of our lives by reminding us that each day that passes is the anniversary of some perfectly uninteresting event.
All Americans should find the event we commemorate on Saturday to be of the greatest possible interest and of the utmost critical importance to the future of our country.
